Attending the conference ‘UCL IRDR 13th Annual Conference Risk Without Borders’ and Giving a seminar at UCL.

Mehmet. Akşit visited London: On the 22nd, as a panel member, and on the 23rd gave a seminar at UCL.
The focus was on automating and optimizing disaster management procedures. Also, presentations were given by the researchers of the UCL.

There was a discussion about the future of research on disaster management. There was an agreement on the multi-disciplinary character of the research and emphasized the importance of collaboration.
