The main topic of this visit was planning joint activities in developing research strategies, methods, and techniques on disaster management systems.
The visit was very productive. Mehmet Akşit gave a seminar and met the faculty members and students. There was an agreement that computer scientists could strongly contribute to designing new generation disaster management systems and as such enhance the level of process automation towards more effective and efficient levels. Mehmet. Akşit thanks the dean of the faculty Prof. Dr. Chu Kiong Loo, the head of the department Dr. ONG, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azah, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rodina, and Dr. Jamilah for their invitation and kind hospitality.
